Swimming Fun

Took the kids from the orphanages swimming.  They had a blast!  Here are a few pictures....

How are things at Craigdhu?  Global Group - would be lovely to hear back from you, if you have any questions or messages for the kids? Love Miss G x

Letters from Uganda to Craigdhu

The P6/P7 children here at RUHU school loved recieving their letters, which the P7s at Craigdhu sent out, as well as all the Christmas cards - the glitter caused much excitement!
Look at the smile on Robert's face - he was thrilled to recieve his letter and has written back...I wonder if any P7s recognise who's letter he is holding, based on the red and black design?

Little Aboo enjoyed recieving this Christmas card and had fun decorating masks!

Hello from Uganda

Apologies for the lack of contact...the internet has been a bit dodgy!

I hope all is well at Craigdhu,

I have been busy since arriving!

Here are a few pictures to show what I have been up to.....
Minging feet from all the dust....think of ten adjectives to describe!

Eating lots of these....guess what they are?
Washing lots of clothes Ugandan style!
Being reunited with friends!
Do you like the hole in my bathroom roof?!
Having my hair done by the girls at the orphanage

Getting ready to head off to Uganda!

Hello global group and Miss Cunniffe. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and enjoyed your holidays.
Tomorrow I head off to Uganda until the end of March.
I look forward to keeping you all up to date 😃 Please keep me up to date with what is happening at Craigdhu as well.
My suitcase is packed and I have all of the cards and letters written by the P7s in my case. I also have the parachute, stickers and stationary packed, which the enterprise group funded.
I also have the global group's lovely card and photograph to give to the children.
My suitcase is very full indeed....with school resources and medical supplies....I can barely move it!
Hope you are all behaving for Mrs Duffy! Tell her I say a big hello.

Love Miss Gilchrist
